Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We are moving into a Full Moon at 1:38am 11th (14:38gmt 10th) in Gate 45, and there will also be a total Lunar Eclipse, the total phase will last for 51 minutes, with the eclipse starting at 10:33pm (11:33gmt), with totality phase starting at 1:06am 11th (14:06gmt 10th) and the point of the greatest eclipse occurs at 1:31am 11th (14:31gmt 10th). The totality phase ends at 1:57am 11th (14:57gmt 10th), and the entire eclipse finally ends at 4:29am 11th (17:29gmt 10th)

And if you are in the right location there will be a chance to observe an unusual effect, one that celestial geometry seems to dictate can't happen. The little-used name for this effect is a "selenelion" (or "selenehelion") and occurs when both the Sun and the Eclipsed Moon can be seen at the same time, check out the details here

The Sun and Earth are still moving through the 1st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 26 and 45 and at 7:56pm (8:56am gmt) they will move into the 2nd Lines bringing a theme of being absorbed in your natural talents until called on to share them. And ‘the lessons of history’ are in the air today, and this is about the ego energy and depth of reflection that can be used supportively in order to learn from the past in anticipation of the future. All of which is based in recognising the power of the ego to mature through will powered experience over time. Plus ‘consensus’ is grounding us, and here we get to see how tribal style gathering together is supported, strengthened and transformed by having an acknowledged common interest. And there is also an inventiveness to establish techniques by which common ground can be assessed, resulting in a material direction manifesting through the expression of techniques for the benefit of others. The notself will fail to respect experience, taking action despite the evidence of history, rebelling and refusing to accept the material techniques of others.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 16 and at 12:20pm (1:20am gmt) she shifts into conjunction with the South Node in Gate 35  ‘change’ bringing movement and focus to the view of abstract ‘progress’ where by design, progress cannot exist in a vacuum and is dependent on sensing and interaction. This is the manifestation of cyclical experiential energy, which always requires beginnings middles and ends, and this transit is all about satiating that appetite for change. If this had an archetype it would be the ‘jack of all trades’ who can also attain mastery, which is manifested through being experientially talented. If this gate had a voice it would say ‘I feel it’s time for a change’ so is always on the lookout for the next experience. This transit can also bring a lot of expectations into play, and being goal oriented will only lead to disappointment, as this is a Gate of the ‘wheel’ continually turning.

At 11:20pm (12:20gmt) the Moon shifts into conjunction with the Earth in Gate 45 ‘the gatherer’ bringing grounding, movement and focus to ‘gathering together’ which is all about naturally attracting generally beneficial like forces that will support manifestation and expression. This is the Gate of hierarchical dominance, and can be seen as the archetype of the king or queen, the empress or emperor, the autocratic tribal leader, who is busy looking after the welfare of the community. If this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I have’ or ‘we have’, and is an expression of the material wellbeing of the community, benevolently sharing materially with the community.

At 6:05pm (7:05am gmt) Uranus goes direct in the 3rd Line of Gate 25 bringing a sidetracking trial and error to ‘sensibility', and here we see the individuated recognition and knowing that innocent action does not in and of itself itself guarantee success. All of which is based in the unique individual power of the ego to withstand failure and still maintain its nature, through love, direction and identity. This is the centring power of the spirit to withstand failure and shock. The notself will lose spirit through failure or shock, treating a projected success as a reality
