Today's planetary update

Date: 10th April 2010

Today we have the Sun and Earth in the 6th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 51 and 57, bringing a focus onto needing to pay attention to what is important, don't be so busy gazing off into the future that you miss what is right there under your nose. This transit brings an energy where there is the ego power available to be able to meet challenges alone. As in times of crisis when all of those around are confused and in disorder and disarray, being able to separate from the craziness brings with it the ability to not succumb to the panic, but have the will and vitality to survive it alone. Plus there is the objectivity available to accept that clarity can be a double edged sword. This is about knowing that there are situations where understanding can never lead to rectification, and being okay with that. So then when there is no answer available the intuition can be turned to, to in turn make the best out of a difficult situation, remembering that this too shall pass. The notself provokes and invites disapproval, taking futile action because of anger and frustration.

The Moon is in conjunction with Neptune in Gate 30 ‘clinging fire', where freedom is recognised as an illusion and limitation accepted as fate. There is strong desire in the air, which if not handled carefully can result in all sorts of emotional aches and yearnings, longing after anything and everything. There is also an opportunity for great wisdom to be gained here, so long as expectations are dropped and the experience can unfold as it will. Then at 12:03pm she moves into Gate 55 ‘abundance', and this is where abundance is strictly a question of spirit, nothing more, nothing less. This is a deeply moody and melancholy transit, and nothing soothes the spirit like the right music, so if it's all a bit much today, plug into your favourite tunes. And at 11:24pm she moves into Gate 37 ‘friendship', bringing into play the manifestation, macro and micro cosmically of the organic nature of communities. This is a friendly and nurturing energy, and as long as the bargains supporting whatever sort of relationship it is are working well, then all is well in the community. There is still a lot of potential for emotional volatility as the Moon transits her way through the Gates of the Solar Plexus, so it is not a time to be letting emotions rule you.

Observe the dance of the planets through the cosmos, feel how the energies shift and move, and don't identify with them, it's like the weather passing through, and your Strategy and Inner Authority is your umbrella in the storms of life.
